How it all begun
The Boondock Saints is one of the GMs favorite movies, and what is cooler than a guild that is based on the tennants that we will be vigilantes killing horde and bosses that roam around the Land of World of Warcraft?
A small group of in game friends started this guild and since we have brough a lot of RL friends, and friends of friends, forming a strong guild based on personal relationships rather than just progression or loot (even though that also seems to happen). We don't care about your gear score, we don't care that you have done all the hardmodes available and then some. We care that you are going to respect our rules and other guildies and become a part of our guild family. We want this to be the place where you come to have fun, free of drama, free of harrassment about your skillz. We are a guild that wants to be a safe place for you to enjoy the world of warcraft.
Adult Guild First!
It has nothing to do with age and all to do with attitude. If you like to tell people how much they suck because they stood on the fire and died, you need not apply. We are about building each other up and becoming better, not about making people learn through harsh words. Our ways have worked and made some fine raiders out of people that might have been overlooked elsewhere. We also do not engage on Trade Chat or WoW Forums trolling. Wear your <BoondockSaints> tag proudly and knowing that other Saints will not act that way. If you love to troll, love attention from the whole server and want to be "noticed" this is also not the home for you.
Respect
We value respect above all other qualities. Respect for your guildies is priority, if you know the answer to the question give it in a polite way (OMG LOOK IN ELITIST JERKS, GOOGLE, ETC) is not appropriate. Also respect your raid officers and raid leaders decisions. We have an open door policy so talk to one of our 3 GMs (Logtar, Moondust, Nitestar) if you have an issue with an officer or a raid decision. We have a no drama policy that has kept our guild going strong and plan on keeping it that way.
Honesty
We are looking for members that are in for the long haul. Guild hoppers or people that want to gear to go to a raider guild don't need to apply. We work very hard for our gear so we can progress as a guild. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a hardcore raider but we don't consider ourselves a stepping stone to greener pastures. If you want to raid plan to stay with us or simply gear up somewhere else.
Why Join?
If you have read this far and you are still interested on becoming a Saint you are going in the right direction. We offer all current crafted patterns, gems and enchants. We offer some very good advice on how to get better at your class, create macros and raid addons. We like to go on old school achievement runs and plan to enter Cataclysm positioned to level our guild very fast. We are looking forward to being rewarded for how well we run as a group and enjoy new content together. We provide a home not just for you but also for any of your friends that want to join us once you have become a full member.
